Since 1998, David Donnelly has been the Managing Director of Clean Energy Development Company (Thailand) Ltd. (CleanTHAI) and the Chairman of Philippine Bio-Sciences Co. Inc. (PhilBIO). He is the Chairman and Vice President Finance of ABC’s parent company, Silk Roads, Ltd. (USA).  He is a former investment banker with Mitsui Bank (Japan) based in New York, as well as a financial options and financial derivatives trader based in Chicago and New York.  

David started his professional finance career in the Treasury Department of The Continental Grain Company of New York in 1977 upon graduating from Dartmouth College (N.H., USA) with a B.A. Degree in Economics and continued his academic career at New York University (N.Y., USA) to earn an M.B.A. in International Finance.  

David’s interest in renewable energy project development derived from conclusions that Asian regional growth was accelerating, that Asian regional energy demand would also accelerate and that industrial waste streams contained the means to generate substantial volumes of renewable energy through biogas technologies at very profitable production cost levels.
