Arif joined AsiaBIOGAS Co Ltd in April 2006 in Bangkok, to establish ABC's operation in Indonesia. Born and raised in Jakarta, Indonesia, Arif left Indonesia in 1997, to study and work in Europe and other countries in South East Asia. 

With experience in the marketing, research and graphic design fields, Arif created conservation awareness campaign for the protection of endangered primates of Cambodia and Vietnam with Flora Fauna Indonesia Indochina program, a non-governmental organization focusing on nature conservation, during 2000-2002. He joined the design team of Ipa-Nima, a Hanoi based internationally known fashion label in 2002. 2 years later he moved to Bangkok to join Gilles Caffier, a French interior design house. 

Arif holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Indonesia.
