"Asia Biogas Philippines (ABP) part of Asia Biogas Group and Uytingkoc Ventures Incorporated (UTKVI) signed the Build Own Operate Transfer (BOOT) Agreement on June 13, 2012 at the Joaquin Room, Manila Peninsula Philippines for the development, installation and commissioning of a 6 MW Multi-Fuel Power Plant to be located at Barangay Pawing, Municipality of Palo, Leyte Province.  ABP was represented by its Country Manager, Don Mario Y. Dia while UTKVI was represented by its Chairman, Mr. Eng Tiak Uy.  The signing was witnessed by Mr. Desmond Godson, Chairman, Asia Biogas Singapore Pte Ltd. for ABP and Atty. Jonathan Uy, Legal Counsel for UTKVI.  Also present from ABP were Atty. Restituto M. Arevalo, Legal Counsel and Leticia L. Garcia, Business Development Manager.
Tacoban The Special Purpose Vehicle established for the development of this project is First Leyte Bio-Energy Corporation.  Construction is estimated to begin by January 2013.   The 6 MW power plant is envisaged to install 1  Atmospheric fluidized bed boiler of 35 TPH Steam Capacity at a steam pressure of 45 bar at a temperature of 400⁰C to meet the the steam requirement of the turbine.  This USD22 million power project is expected to be completed within 24 months."
