2011 Asia Pacific Technology Innovation Award

 In August 2011, AsiaBIOGAS was awarded the prestigious Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Green Excellence Award. The award recognized their outstanding achievement in providing sustainable services, products and strategies.

The award honored AsiaBIOGAS for demonstrating significant progress in enhancing long-term sustainability with innovative technology, while at the same time, providing commitment and dedication to caring for the environment.

 

Mr. Samuel West Stewart, EVP of AsiaBiogas attended the inauguration of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DWSD) Core Shelter Assistance Program of the Municipality of Bani at Barangay Ulanin on December 7, 2010.

The event had President Noynoy Aquino as the main guest speaker who took time to visit the booth of ABC on the Bani Integrated Cogen Ethanol Rice Mill Project. Mr. Stewart gave the president the six (6) reports completed on the on-going feasibility study on the said project.

(TNO) In the morning 28 April, in Tay Ninh Town, Tay Ninh Province, there is the Groundbreaking Ceremony of two biogas plants, worth of 3 million USD. These are two first plants converting waste water form processing starch cassava into clean energy in Tay Ninh province.

These are two companies converting waste water from processing starch cassava into clean energy in the Tay Ninh Tapioca Company and Vietnam Tapioca Company.
Using the anaerobic ABR/CIGAR technology, this companies will handle 3.000 cubic waste water to supply 10.000 to 12.000 cubic biogas per day, which replaces completely fuel oil from the factories.

(TBKTSG Online) – Two biogas plants – one kind of biology energy, by converting waste water from processing the starch cassava, had set up by Tay Ninh Biogas Company on 28 April.
These plants will handle 3000 M3 waste water to supply 10000 – 12000 cubic biogas per day. This waste water is from two starch cassava plants in Tay Ninh Town and Tan Bien District. The biogas can offset the fuel oil to process the starch cassava. Beside that, the odd biogas can generate electricity completely to support all the biogas plant’s activities.

Mr. Nguyen Nhut Hung, representative of Biogas Tay Ninh, the subsidiary of Asia Biogas (USA) – main investor, said that the converting waste water into clean energy will reduce 90% environmental pollution level in the starch cassava companies.

HCM CITY — The US-based Asia Biogas Limited plans to introduce state-of-the-art waste treatment technology that will provide low-cost energy to local industries and consumers.

"We hope to bring to Viet Nam new technology which can not only help to protect the environment, but also create a source of cheap energy," David Donnelly, managing director of the company, said at a seminar last week held by the US Consulate’s Commercial Service in HCM City.
