David Donnelly has been the Managing Director of Clean Energy Development Company (Thailand) Ltd. (CleanTHAI) and the Chairman of Philippine Bio-Sciences Co. Inc. (PhilBIO) for almost 14 years. He is also the Chairman and Vice President Finance of Silk Roads, Ltd. (USA).

David is a former investment banker with Mitsui Bank in New York, as well as a financial options and financial derivatives trader based in Chicago and New York. He began his extensively broad-based career in finance at the Treasury Department of The Continental Grain Company of New York in 1977. He has a B.A in Economics from Dartmouth College (USA) and an M.B.A. in International Finance from New York University (USA).

David's interest in renewable energy project development was inspired by conclusions that Asian regional growth was accelerating, that Asian regional energy demand would also accelerate and that industrial waste streams contained the means to generate substantial volumes of renewable energy through biogas technologies at very profitable production cost levels.
